Comparing MonetizeNow and DealHub
DealHub is a great CPQ, but it was built for a different decade.
DealHub was built more than ten years ago, for transactional sales, and it is genuinely good at that. Then the landscape changed entirely. Subscriptions brought amendments, upsells, co-terms, proration, and ramps. AI brought credits, top-ups and overage. Self-serve and PLG brought a second selling motion entirely. A CPQ designed before any of that existed has to build workarounds for all of it.
- Your CPQ should be built for modern SaaS
- Your CPQ needs to be AI-native, with MCP connectivity
- Your CPQ needs to be easy for everyone: reps, RevOps, and customers

“DealHub was a code-heavy bottleneck for us. Changes required constant engineering and one person became the single point of failure. Moving to MonetizeNow let our ops team self-serve.”
Experience
Nobody has ever loved a CPQ. We took that personally.
Most CPQ comparisons are a features argument. That is not what you will feel on a Tuesday. What you will feel is whether the people around this system can do their jobs without waiting on each other.
There are three experiences inside a CPQ, and most tools are good at one of them at the expense of the other two.
The guardrails are the whole trick
Validation rules are what let all three be true at once. You define what a valid quote looks like once, in no-code if-then logic, and after that reps can move fast without anyone checking their work. Three minutes, and you will know whether you could build your own.
Or watch the hard ones get built
“It's probably the best CPQ UI I've seen so far. Really, really easy to use, very intuitive. You can do more than I'd expect, and it's really customizable.”
“A year ago, if there were issues with our CPQ, I had to work; no ifs, ands, or buts. With MonetizeNow, I went on my honeymoon and was never consulted once.”

Migration
The part you are actually worried about, that nobody’s website mentions
Quote-to-cash projects have a bad history. Long timelines, a partner in the middle, a go-live that slips two quarters, and a finance team rebuilding reports afterwards. That history is why this is an anxious purchase rather than a straightforward one, and pretending otherwise would insult you.
So here is how we handle it. We own the implementation, even when there are external partners involved. The project is run by our team, not handed off. Your historical contracts and amendment history come across with care, and the reporting your finance team relies on keeps working.
We run it in a shared Slack channel. We do not like email either.
“With MonetizeNow, we were up and running in days not months. We now have proper controls, high data quality and automation. Reps can send accurate quotes in a minute.”
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What happens to our historical data and reporting?
It comes with you. Historical contracts, amendment history, and the reporting your finance team depends on are part of the migration scope, not something you rebuild afterwards. We will walk through your specific data on the call.
Does DealHub not have billing now?
They do. DealHub acquired Subskribe in November 2025 and now sells billing and revenue recognition alongside their CPQ. The question worth asking is architectural. Their billing arrived as a separate product with its own data model and is being integrated. Ours was built alongside the CPQ, on one product catalog and one contract object. Two systems joined by an integration have to reconcile with each other, permanently. One system does not. That difference shows up in your month-end, not in either demo.
We only need CPQ today. Does billing matter?
Not immediately, and we would not sell you on it. Worth asking one question before you sign anything: will usage billing, credits, uplifts or co-terms matter in the next eighteen months? If yes, buying a CPQ that cannot grow into it means doing this evaluation twice.
We are on Salesforce. Does that favor DealHub?
No. MonetizeNow uses native Salesforce objects rather than custom ones, which is what keeps ARR and TCV accurate in your reporting. If you are on HubSpot or Attio, the gap is wider in our favor.
How long does implementation take?
Days to weeks, run by our team. Middesk was live in days. We will give you a real answer for your catalog on the call, before you commit to anything.
What does it cost?
Per quoting user for CPQ. If you add billing, a percentage of invoiced revenue. We will walk through the numbers on the call.
Bring the deal that broke your last CPQ and we’ll model it.
Thirty minutes. We will configure it live, and you can ask the awkward questions while they are still cheap to ask. If DealHub is the better fit for what you are doing, we will tell you.
30 minutes. No slides. You will meet someone who builds the product.
